Roland DG Corporation, a worldwide leader in wide-format UV-LED inkjet and Print&Cut technologies, introduced the 54” (1372mm) VersaUV LEC-540 UV-LED inkjet printer/cutter.
Based on award-winning VersaUV technology, the LEC-540 prints CMYK+White+Gloss and contour cuts virtually any substrate up to 1 mm (0.04”) thick*1, on demand, for luxurious, custom graphics with unique special effects and finishes.
JetPrint Storbilder Purchases HP Scitex XP5100 At FESPA

HP announced that JetPrint Storbilder, of Uddevalla, Sweden, signed a deal at FESPA to purchase the HP Scitex XP5100 Printer.
The HP Scitex XP5100 5m machine can print at speeds of up to150m2/hr, producing both prints for outdoor applications such as building wraps, and billboards, as well as high-quality indoor signage, including point-of-purchase displays. It supports substrates including polyethylene, paper, mesh, vinyl, textiles, and Tyvek.

Roland DG became aware that due to firmware problem, this product may become in-operative, and in the worst case may emit smoke from or around the control panel or the main panel may overheat. Please turn off the main power switch and contact the Roland distributor if it starts to give out smoke or the main panel overheats.

HP today announced that Trycket Mora, of Mora, Sweden, has purchased Sweden's first HP Scitex LX800 Printer.
Trycket Mora is a family business and was established in 1979 as a screen-printing house. In 2001 the company broke into the wide format market and went digital, specialising in printing outdoor banners and signage for sporting events and ski resorts.
