Grapo Technologies, a manufacturer of wide format hybrid and flatbed UV printers based in the Czech Republic will be demonstrating its next generation of printing technology at FESPA 2010, scheduled for June 22-26 in Munich. The new flatbed Gemini X10/1080UV from Grapo Technologies is capable of printing on rigid substrates as well as roll-to-roll, and will bring to market higher speeds, improved quality and a number of new innovations. Grapo Technologies is located in Hall B2, Stand 460 at the show.

Mutoh Introduces Zephyr TS – Traffic Sign Production Printer

Based on Mutoh’s Zephyr UV platform, the new Zephyr TS will print directly onto retroreflective sheeting, using specially formulated UV inks. The combination of printer, UV inks, retroreflective sheeting and UV protection overlay film fulfills the European standard for fixed vertical road traffic signs (EN 12899-1:2007).

Mutoh to Introduce New 2.6 Meter Direct-to-textile Printer at Fespa 2010
Written by LFP24Large format piezo inkjet printer manufacturer Mutoh Belgium nv announces release of a new high volume printer, called Viper TX 100. The Viper TX 100 is Mutoh’s first 2.6 meter
(102”) wide direct-to-fabric printer. The new Mutoh engine incorporates a built-in switchable and rotatable print bed, enabling both direct-to-fabric printing and transfer paper printing (sublimation) in one machine. The printer is ideally suited for volume producers of soft signage, garment/apparel and industrial applications such as home furnishings. Incorporating Mutoh’s proprietary Intelligent Interweaving print technology, the Viper TX 100 printer allows quality production speeds up to 36 m2/h. Top speeds up to 76 m2/h can be obtained. The machine will be presented to the wide public at Mutoh’s booth at the oncoming Fespa 2010 show, Hall B2 – 160.
